Tasus Corporation History

History

It all started in 1950 with the formation of TASUS' parent company, Tsuchiya Co. Ltd. of Nagoya, Japan. Tsuchiya is a key supplier to many of the world's leading manufacturers: Toyota Motor Corporation, Sanyo Electric, Kubota Corporation, Hino Motors, to name a few. Nearly four decades later, TASUS Corporation began its' operations in Bloomington, Indiana, with the primary objective of supplying automotive sub-components to the mid-west market. Five years after operations start-up; Craft Originators (est. 1931) was purchased making them a wholly owned subsidiary of Tsuchiya Co. Ltd. ln 1996, Craft Originators enlarged its product line when it was assigned printing work from TASUS Corporation. With Craft Originators now over 75 years experience in printing and specialized design and manufacture of nameplates, graphic overlays, labels, TASUS printing equipment was moved to Craft's Hamilton Ontario facility to allow room for greater expansion into injection molding and assembly processes. Well into it's second decade of operation TASUS Corporation expanded its manufacturing to Georgetown, Texas to begin serving the southwest automotive, transportation and communications markets. TASUS Texas Corporation continues to supply injection molded, as well as extrusion, blow and reaction injection molded products.
