
Indiana Facility -
Maintenance / Automation Tech
The Maintenance / Automation Tech will be directly responsible for implementation and follow-up of automation projects and process improvements on plant equipment; preventive and repair maintenance of facility and its equipment as scheduled or as needed; assist in repair of robots and other automation; maintain the maintenance department in an organized and clean manner so that jobs can be handled as efficiently as possible; prioritize work depending on work load, cost of downtime, cost of extended damage, etc.; provide services on a 24-hour emergency call basis, as required; exhibit outstanding documentation skills; be active and effective in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will possess:
· Maintenance or machine shop experience, trade or tech school preferred
· Background in electricity and/or electronics
· Good working knowledge of computers, PLC logic, and robotic programming
· Good communications with internal contacts and outside vendors
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
