Bloomington, IN- Last Friday, TASUS attended Owen Valley High School’s first career fair! The career fair hosted over 30 organizations. This event was a great opportunity for graduating seniors to interview for current job openings and practice their interviewing skills.

TASUS was very excited to connect with Owen Valley students, and educate them on what we do as well as network with them for future job opportunities. It was estimated that over 600 students attended the event. TASUS participated in both the career fair as well as mock interview session.

A special thanks to Tyler Blackburn and KayLeigh Duerksen for attending.

Florence, Alabama- TASUS Employee Nick Willis and his team won 1st place in the collegiate category for The Big Idea competition. The goal of the competition is to encourage the development of entrepreneurs and to create excitement in the community while bettering the Shoals region. The Big Idea Competition ideas are focused on Digital Technology.

In the past, competitors have developed ideas such as an app that connected local farmers with customers, a smart parking app, and solar powered charging stations for cellphones. Nick’s team’s idea was for ‘smart’ prescription bottles with sensors on them. These bottles would deliver notifications about when to take the prescription, as well as whether the medication has expired or been tampered with.
