Bloomington, IN- On August 11th, Tsuchiya Group North America and TASUS CEO Melanie Walker was sworn in as a member of the Indiana University Board of Trustees. She was sworn in along side Quinn Buckner, former professional basketball player and now color analyst for the Pacers. Melanie’s daughter Stormy was a part of the ceremony, holding the bible for both Melanie and Quinn as they were sworn in. The bible had significant meaning to Indiana University as it was former Indiana University President Herman B. Wells most prized possession. Melanie’s term on the board lasts three years.

Bloomington,IN- Curtis Pruett is currently the supervisor of 2nd shift and has been with TASUS for 14 years. Curtis said the best thing about his job is the operators he works with.

In his free time Curtis likes to play music, spend time with his family, and fish. Curtis is married with two children. An eleven year old son, Riley, and a seven year old daughter, Taylor. His biggest inspiration is his wife. Such a sweet answer!

Curtis is a skilled guitar player. Last year, Curtis was the team captain of the TASUS softball team but, unfortunately couldn’t play this year because of schedule changes. His dream vacation would be a cruise to Alaska.

Curtis’s favorite movie is ¡Three Amigos! starring Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short. His favorite thing to eat is smoked ribs.

Thanks for the many years of being a great part of our team Curtis!
