Sonya keeps her hands busy in her free time with crafting, crocheting, and she also recently started woodworking. Her special talent is singing, and she says her husband loves to hear her sing. What’s Sonya’s favorite food you ask? Pizza X breadsticks!

Sonya has two favorite movies “While you were sleeping” and “Christmas Kiss”. When asked about her dream vacation she said she would to go to Florida to see the Holy Land Experience, and to see the ocean.

Hamilton, ON- Mark began his career at TASUS in 1999. He started as a graphic designer and in 2012 moved into the position of Production Design Supervisor.

Mark met his wife Anita when they both attended art school at Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology in Sault Ste. Marie. They were married in 1994 and have 3 boys, Gabriel who is 19 and 17-year-old twins, Niall and Flynn. The Thornton family loves the outdoors, they enjoy cross country skiing in the winter and spend the summer months camping and fishing.

Mark likes to cook (and eat)! He recently welcomed some chickens into the family so he has plenty of fresh eggs (which his co-workers also get to enjoy), and he grows his own hot peppers which he will use when he enters the 3rd annual Chili cook-off next month here at TASUS!

Pictured above are Mark and Anita last month when the TASUS Canada team had a social committee wine tour event.

Mark, thanks for being a great part of the TASUS team!
